OMNI Systems. -- History
Omni Systems are largely unknown to S-100 board collectors today. As far as
I know they only made one board, a 16K Static RAM board. They
advertised it in 1977 but were unseen after that. They operated out of
Provo Utah. They did however very early on come out with the
above 16K static RAM board (using EMM SEMI 4200 4K X 1 chips) before anybody
else at the time. On top of that the board was extremely well priced.
Currently I have no further information about the company, its founders or
what happened to them. If you have information you would like to share
please let me know.
